Now that you have built and tested your website, I would like you to market it. Let’s say that your budget is NOK 10 000 (or 1800 $ US). Please do the following:

• Do some research on what advertising costs. You could for instance contact your local newspaper, print shop and other websites.
• Make a detailed list of how you would market your website. Remember to keep your budget in mind.
• What if you had double the budget? Come up with a second marketing strategy, this time with NOK 20 000 at your disposal. (3600 $ US)
• Come up with a viral idea. It doesn’t have to be a video; it can be guys dancing at the airport in gorilla suits. You can use ANYTHING that is at your disposal. Be creative!

When I think of ways to marketing my website, I have in mind that I want my website to reach out to as many people as posssible. I want people that is not living nereby Brønnøysund, even maybe not in Norway to see and visit my website.

And in theese days, we see that communication and marketing online is more popular and a good way to market something more than ever. So my main focus would be to market my website through social media channels as Facebook and Instagram. In these social medias you can yourself choose the budget and hpw much you want to market and wich audience you want to reach. This would be my main tool to market my website.

Anyway I also would have ordered som flyers to send around to turist information around in norway, and other public offices that could market my website for me.

I visited :www.vistaprint.no and at their site I could order A5 flyers, I could order 1000 flyers for 500 kr. I would order 6000 flyers for the amount of 3000,-kr.

If I had double budget I would have made a video of Brønnøysund, to show how nice it is here. All the things you could see and enjoy, and finished my video by showing my websit and the information you could find there. I would then market this video at facebook and Instagram.

Regarding the task come up with a viral idea: Here I would have made a viedeo with a Drone, that is showing Brønnøysund from a birds perspective. Flying through the hole in the well known mountain called Torghatten. The viedeo should have finished by zooming in a big poster of my website at the harbour in Brønnøysund
